Halii Kai upcoming owner renovation projects

Aloha All,

Unit 9D will begin an interior renovation project begining 3/28/18.  They will be removing carpet and replacing with hardwood flooring.  Estimated completion date is 4/20/18.  Work will be performed Mon. - Fri. (9am - 5pm).

 

Please inform your guests/tenants as needed.

New resort fee start date delayed until April 1, 2018

Aloha neighbors,

After further review, the board of directors has voted to delay the implementation of the new resort fee of $20/day until April 1, 2018. Previously, a resort fee announcement was sent out to homeowners indicating that the new resort fee would be effective January 1, 2018. The board is responding to the needs of the owners and rental management companies who have confirmed reservations on the books during the January - April timeframe. If you rent out your Halii Kai home, please advise your management company and customers of the new effective date of the resort fee change.

Aloha homeowners:

Now that hurricane season has started it is a good time to remember that our property manager must know when you are at Halii Kai. This information helps us ensure your safety AND address insurance concerns. We also use owner occupancy information to monitor Ocean Club charges that are being billed to individual accounts in an attempt to prevent unauthorized charges.

There are three options to let management know you are on-property. (1) Send an email to GeneraL Manager Denise Young with your check-in and check-out dates at dyoung@castleresorts.com. (2) Call Denise and leave her a voicemail at (808)886-4307. (3) Stop by the front desk upon arrival and let the staff know the details of your visit.

Update: Front gate remote ordering procedure

Aloha Neighbors,
Those owners wishing to purchase a remote control for the front gate or a no parking sign for their garage doors should order from Kemp and pay him directly. You should give him a check made payable to Halii Kai AOAO. Cost for the remotes is $37 and the garage signs are approximately $25 each...check with Kemp for the exact cost.
